Myrtha Ortiz Villar

Myrtha Ortiz Villar is a recent graduate of the Leadership, Organization, and Entrepreneurship program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). As a first-generation Latina, Myrtha’s research interests live at the intersection of education access and the navigational experience of immigrant populations in the United States. Before joining Harvard, Myrtha worked across California’s K-16 schools, working with and for Spanish-speaking families and first-generation students. She holds a B.A. in Geography from the University of California, Berkeley.
