Rhonda Bondie, Chris Dede, and Kathryn Leech present Personalized Teacher Learning for Making Decisions In Differentiated Instruction at the 2019 International Society for Technology in Education Conference to share how virtual reality and other technology can contribute to teacher learning and development. 

Abstract

Closing achievement gaps depends, in part, on teacher decision making capacity to differentiate instruction, effectively engaging and stretching every student in every lesson. We explore how technologies from virtual reality to simple Google docs can assess teacher capacities needed to make rapid, flexible instructional decisions and can personalize teacher learning.
